It is very easy to seal a rolled roof. You can do this alone without having to spend extra money on a roofer.  It will be easier if you can do it alone or with the help of one person.

Step by step guideline 

Step 01:

Step 06:

After installing the first layer, you have to install the second layer. To do this, first, measure the chalk line measuring tape as before. 

The chalk line of the first layer was 35 inches. Measure the width of the chalk line of the second layer 32 inches above the first layer.

Step 07:

Again, cut according to the correct size with the cutting tool. Apply roofing cement to secure the second layer. 

Then roll and install the second layer. After installing the second layer, nail it with a hammer. 

Secure the nails 10 inches apart. After securing the nails, secure all the nails with roofing cement. Make sure that all parts of the roofing system are secured with nails and roofing cement.

Step 08:

Finish installing two layers and secure all the places. 

Now the extra part of the rolled roofing can remain around. Cut all the extra parts evenly with the cutting tool.

Step 09:

Before you finish the last seal, make sure that it is sealed everywhere.
